I have a dragonair flight code, which is codeshare with Air China.

I would like to know if I would get points on QF for this?
Booking class is Y.

Would Oneworld privileges be offered?
Business counter checkin, lounge etc?

Don't hold your points hoping for points. Cases like this are fairly clear on the QFF earning table (on my phone ATM, so don't have the link).

From the FF page for Dragon Air.
Frequent Flyer - Earning Points - Fly - Airline Partners
Points and Status credits are not earned on codeshare flights operated by airlines other than oneworld[SUP][SUP]®[/SUP][/SUP] Alliance Airlines.

So no, points and SC are not earned on this flight. Nor would OW privileges be offered as Air China doesn't recognise OW status.

Although this is a OW affliate marketed flight, it's not OW metal therefore there won't be any access to any OW lounges based on status.

I see thanks for that.

But if there was a cathay lounge then I should be able to get in right?

On CX or Dragon Air issued status probably, but if it's under another OW airline status like QF/BA/AA, then technically no as the flight has to be marketed and operated by a OW airline.

Got my CA boarding pass showing KA flight code.
Went to HK CX Wing First Lounge showed them the boarding pass and QF Plat card and was let in without a fuss.

That's interesting. This could either be a one-off case by the lounge dragon (angel) not knowing the OW rules, or a case of general CX unpublished soft benefit.

On my reading of the CX access rules I'd say it is published, i.e. no mention of "marketed and operated":

Passenger + 1 guest
(departing on Cathay Pacific, Dragonair or oneworld carriers flights only)
