I just started another thread about Etihad Business Connect the other day, but no-one has commented.

I am only Silver, so it's not Gold-specific. Not sure about your other offer, but I think I also received it.

Pete

Thanks for this Zinkle.

I have just applied for the Eithad Business Connect account.
Does anyone know how long they take to get back to you?

A more general promotion for pointspay - interesting concept that takes what QF/VA have done with their cash cards one step further.

Mobile wallet for e-payment with points and miles - PointsPay

Currently only with EY, but pointspay asking you to nominate other FF programs to join.

PointsPay. Pay with Etihad Guest Miles.

Convert Etihad Guest points to "Cash" via PointsPay (another clone of the QF/VA cash card), but sounds like you can convert it to credit on a VISA card (not sure if it is debit/credit) in potentially multiple currencies.

I haven't been able to link my Etihad Guest and PointsPay accounts yet (need minimum 2,000 EY points)

Can be used as a virtual card (for online transactions) and physical card

FAQ shows conversion
US0.01 per 1.2-1.5 EY FF point
US0.99 per load
fee for ordering and shipping physical card

I used this in January after doing one of the Malaysian specials, it was a great way to bring down the cost significantly as I ended up getting $150 worth if points back from one sector, very happy.

There must of been a promo on flights to AUH in Jan, I just got 13000 extra bonus miles for my flight AU-BNE via SIN, which is worth $105AUD using the points pay app.

Got another 7000 overnight, getting a bit ridiculous when you get back half the flights airfare in points value. especially when your using the worse redemption value to value those points, as in Points Pay virtual visa.
