Just to rephrase that, I meant that if you didn't want to fly SFO via LAX to LAS on AA & get FOC baggage allowance due to WF WP, if you also hold *A Gold you would receive foc checked baggage on US or UA Airlines SFO/LAS if you wanted a non-stop flight.
