Hi Everyone, long time reader first time poster! (I have never felt I could provide anything to the wealth of knowledge this site is)

On Wednesday Afternoon/Thursday I am doing a status run (7 J flights in 24 hours) and was wondering if first and foremost if anyone had any tips tricks or suggestions, but also how consistent everyone would expect the service to be between the flights. Also what should I do if something happens causing a missed flight etc. All the i-tins are linked but any previous experience would be loved. This isn't my first status run last year I did SYD-OOL-MEL-PER-DRW-SYD-MEL-SYD all in Y but it is my first using the JASA Classic Rate trick (I booked the tickets over the phone this morning which was relatively easy (still took an hour 15 on the phone) but that's a whole other story). Any advice will be well received and if you are going to be in any of the J Clubs or would like access let me know.

Here is the itinerary:

Welcome to AFF.

QF domestic are pretty good with schedule, I wouldn't worry too much about misconnects and the fare type won't leave you out of pocket at worst.

3 hours in BNE I'm not sure I would bother going into town unless you haven't been there. Maybe an early dinner somewhere on Eagle St. Pier could be in order however. Either way have it's too short to just walk about aimlessly since you're probably look at 30 mins each way.

ADL is a different story, you have plenty of time to do _something_
A taxi into town is probably best. I'm not great as a tourist there but maybe the Museum and Art Gallery along North Terrace is a start. Shopping in Rundle Mall & an afternoon coffee in Rundle St a few minutes walk away. Just give yourself a bit more time heading back to the airport with traffic.

Only other thought is go hand luggage only to avoid trouble, then check your bag in for the final sectors i.e. at BNE & ADL, so you don't have to lug a bag around.

Yeah I was thinking about just travelling with a backpack. I think your right about Brissy maybe a less stressful afternoon the better its not like I haven't been there haha. I think the art gallery and Rundle St is the go!

Thanks Joshua!

You could always catch the free bus to the DFO, just be aware the last bus is at 6PM coming back.

3 Hours in BNE is not a long time.

The airtrain is not the cheapest method of Transport and will cost $16 each way into Central station.

It is about 30 mins each way for train travel.

I would have a few drinks in the lounge unless you have a real desire to get into BNE city I would stay at the airport.

Markis10 true genius!! Completely forgot about that DFO and would save me the trip to the SYD one I was planning for the weekend! Any insights as to where the bus leaves from?

The stop is the T bus stop outside QF checkin, and outside Woolies where you get dropped off.
