Re: Jet Star 787 - Looks pretty good!
A complete waste of a perfectly good 787.

But only those who don't bag JQ get an invite!![]()
As these are going to replace the A330s, what is Qantas going to do with those?
There are 20 767s in Qantas' fleet, so there aren't enough soon to be ex-JQ A330s (10x) to replace them all?
No lie flat seats, that's a slight shame, as I would never fly in their J but would happily fly in their Y cabin.
I wont mind at all if it CNS and if its out of Int. at SYD even better for 1st Lounge, this is a possibility for long haul training with this new bird, also read somewhere one of the first three 787's will be SYD/HNL too.
Looks better then the old 767's QF use to HNL
There are other posts around suggesting that the 767s are being replaced by A330s and 737s.As these are going to replace the A330s, what is Qantas going to do with those? There are 20 767s in Qantas' fleet, so there aren't enough soon to be ex-JQ A330s (10x) to replace them all?

Lots of rumours and guessing...!! QF have been painting 787 parking marks at terminals that only handle QF aircraft for a while as well.....![]()

That counts me out.But only those who don't bag JQ get an invite!![]()
More guessing than rumours - based on trying to rationilise the Qantas fleet strategy based on what has been confirmed. There are no confirmed 787s coming with Kangaroos on them. The 789-9s would come after the 767s are currently scheduled to retire. Also, if Jetstar are going to be flying 787s on domestic routes for a couple of months, they're going to need to have terminals set up for them somewhere.Lots of rumours and guessing...!!
