Great idea. Just booked JQ 35 back next day on JQ30.

Am WP so can guest 1.

Will be coming from Balmoral in Sydney so happy to share transport to/from Airport?

Will probably just do a mystery booking for hotel on Thursday night in city

Will aspire to get to check in at 12noon

PS Price match $107 return!

Sounds like a plan Infinity. I'm coming from Dee Why. I still need to book and am debating if I should bring my wife and young son along.

If you choose to book give me a PM and perhaps we can co-ord some transport?

I'll be flying up on the day from MEL and then staying at the MEL HI after JQ35. I fear I will be in state of shock after flying Deathstar and probably shouldn't drive. (Obviously I'll only drink non alcoholic drinks in the F Lounge. :p)

.....the other alternative is to do a bit of a status run on the 23rd MEL-HBA positioning flight with a JASA HBA-MEL-SYD. It's getting desperate for SC's in my next year!!!
Let me know what you decide. Always good to travel with a bit of class. ;)

Booking complete!

QF418 Departing MEL at 9:00AM on the 24th!

Now I need to understand a little more about the Deathstar process. Presumably upon landing at SYD the Transfer Bus can be taken to the International Terminal where we will all obviously meet in the QF F check in suite to receive our boarding passes, priority cards, and orange stickers. Then we will be escorted by the QF F peeps through security and immigration and on to the lounge................

Not gonna happen like that is it. :(

You haven't seem the flowchart I created, have you?

Just to save those having to read the last 241 posts, here is a simple process of how to get boarding passes early. Keep asking JQ staff until one says yes.

I am now on QF418 too. Incidentally, my first attempt at booking a MASA.

I have about an 80% strike rate getting an early BP, so follow close and please let me do the talking. ;)

What are the joining requirements for this conference? Experiencing a QF Flounge is close to the top of my travel bucket list but I never fly QF and have never met anyone from AFF in person :(
