The original email about this exclusive event was sent as priority to members who have a registered interest in golf. My post on this thread was to extend the initial invite to AFF members.

However a subsequent email was sent today to members who’ve registered an interest in sports generally. It will also be promoted in our next newsletter, as this event is open to all Qantas Frequent Flyer members.

Though an inaugural event, we’ve received a lot of interest from some very enthused members and therefore are keen to seek similar exciting opportunities for other registered interests.

I've already passed on your comments regarding a cricket themed event. At this rate, we might need an AFF's XI before the next Ashes series!.
