Folks some advice please.

I received a DSC and promptly went out and booked a JASA to ASP with a red-e-deal to get me over the line for SG
Unfortunately something has come up and I can't travel on the date I booked for........ Im now wondering if the tickets are transferrable?
Also, if by chance they are transferrable= would the SC's and FFPs still be credited to my account (despite a different traveller)?

Thanks

The T&Cs usually say not transferable not are name changes permitted. The person who actually flies is who gets the FF points and SCs.

As for date changes, well it would depend if the fare class is still available for the preferred date.

The person who name is on the Boarding Pass get the points, so even if you could change names at no cost, the named passenger would get the points/SC's.

Is there ever anyone checking ID for domestic segments... could give it away, risk it and still get your SCs... :)

I have heard of someone (a bit time poor) sending his son to MEL for lunch in his place just to get the required SCs to retain status..

Come to think of it, I can't recall the last time my ID was checked on a domestic flight. Perhaps it is possible to do a status run sitting at home watching TV...

With OLCI and no checked baggage, the chance of being caught is low. But still is against QFF T&Cs I am sure.
PS. Don't go substituting a female for a male is probably my other tip if you go down this path...

If you present to the checkin counter without a FF card, you will be asked for photo ID.

You would also be required to show photo ID if you are travelling domestically on an international flight number (QF1-QF399) such as QF20 or QF8 BNE/SYD or QF19 SYD/BNE as the customs officer will check your photo ID against the name on your boarding pass.
