Heard a rumour that this announcement will likely be a fizzer!

C'mon QF give us some real good news, like new QFi routes or new aircraft.
No use having a big tourism campaign if all the tourists have to fly other airlines just to get here! ;)

In fairness, it was not QF which raised any expectations. They sent a media alert to the media saying there was to be a press conference this morning - and the media then alerted us.

Probably would have been better if we'd not been told!
 
That was a bit of a let down. Great news for Sydney and NSW though.

People in SA and WA must really be starting to feel unloved now. First, Cut services....... Then promote another state as a destination. :eek:

I really thought Qantas would be flying to China by now. Surely that's going to be a country with incredible growth potential?

They do fly to Shanghai which I believe is in china
