Qantas media alert just issued - press conference Monday AM at 11 with AJ at the helm...

Any inside knowledge?!

AJ leaving to become Tim Clarks underling at EK.

[Serious] Must be market sensitive if they haven't given any details. [/serious]

Something about coast to coast services?

Why would they have their latest A330 delivered with the OW tiles?

That was several months ago and I don't think it would take long to remove the OW branding.

That said, I don't believe for one minute that will be the announcement but my point is things can change very quickly so don't interpret what happened last month is what they will be doing this month.

Lets see:
Qantas to recommence International services from ADL, one flight every month.

Another international route is cut

QF recommences LHR-JFK

AJ to invite all AFFers to a nice reception. Miranda, John T & others to be there. FAs also around in the swish new uniforms :)

That'd be super cool, heading back to their roots, but I guess they can't sell those seats on their own, so not happening. Nice to dream though!

Yes a dream that won't come true. Still rather than the A380 sitting idle all day at LHR, a quick shuttle over to JFK and back. There is no other A380 on this route right?

On a more likely note, a talk about the success of the EK partnership 3 weeks in.
