AA's Admirals Club 30-day Membership: QF lounge access?

Can anyone point me to relevant link on AA's website that outlines the 30 day deal?

The information that gave to BindiBuys via an AA agent just doesn't seem to sit comfortably along other and numerous comments around there that the pass would affectively be an Admirals Club membership, complete with the full suite of offerings, just for one month. And as the (appropriate) level Admirals Club card gets you access in Australia, then the same should apply with the one month pass. Perhaps a discrepancy arises in how to depending the pass holder's status with request to determining which lounges (beyond the AA net) he or she has access to

Here is the link Admirals Club . It is not a pass like the 1-day but full mebership for 30 days. The terms of access for non-AA lounges are specific and you must comply e.g. flying on QF to enter QF Lounges.

The day 30 is a 'membership'. The 1 day is a 'pass'. That's the main difference according to AA.

I am planning on purchasing one of these the day before I go to the US in April. I expect to use it at CBR domestic, SYD Int, LA Dom, SFO Dom, LA Dom again, ORD dom and JFK Int. Apparently there is no lounge at MCO.

7 entries for $99 seems pretty reasonable.

Had a girlfriend like that once.

I bought one, which gives 30 days from um, 04/02/2013, and I should be able to use it for all lounges from Canberra onwards. Plus two guests, which is a better deal than I'm getting from the DONE4 ticket beginning in JNB. I've printed out a few webpages to bring with me, just in case.

Hmmm will it allow me to enter the QF international business class lounge at PER international with an onward QF Intl flight or is it restricted to just domestic Qantas club lounge? The lounge info page on the admirals site is kinda vague

I just looked it up again and although I thought is was only valid to start immediately upon purchase, it now seems to be within a 90 day period to start (I highlighted in red below).

Also, the description 'pass' and 'm'ship' seems to be interchangeable:

My question to AA - was can I use the ONE day pass at Sydney.

My trip was to the USA for 36 days, so the 30 day pass would not have covered the whole period, I had the Sydney to Orlando legs, then was not flying again for 10 days.
I did purchase the 30 day card at Miami- which worked fine at MIA, EWR, ORD, JFK, LAX, just be aware that the 30 days started from the day of purchase. Please check that this is still the case, as I travelled last November.

I believe they have changed the T&C's make it more flexible.

FWIW, in all cases it's best to refer to it as a "Membership" when discussing entry as the AA "Pass"'s generally don't allow non A/C access (e.g. QP's).

Admirals Club membership doesn't allow access on solely North American flights. So does this mean that, really, an Admirals Club membership is of no benefit in those circumstances, correct?

You are getting mixed up.

Discounting designated Transcontinental routes, A/C membership (or Day Pass) is the only way that AAdvantage members (including elites) can access A/C before their flight when on "North American" (excluding MEX) itineraries without being guested or having a specific credit/charge card.

For AAdvatantage elites, they must be on an interntaional itinerary to get status based access to AA lounges.

The 30-Day Admirals Club membership is a full membership for 30 consecutive days. As a member, you are welcome to visit the Qantas Clubs, domestic and international, when traveling on Qantas operated flights. You must present your valid 30-Day membership receipt and boarding pass.

With your membership, you are eligible to invite up to 2 additional guests to accompany you when you visit. If you visit any Qantas Clubs with in North America, you are only eligible to invite 1 additional guest to accompany you.
