I had BA F trip SYD-SIN (BA016) couple of years ago and I am booked on same(BA016-F) in March except this time it is on a 747.
Any differences to highlight? Appreciate any feedback.

Did you fly on their older F cabin or their updated "New First" previously? Old F vs New F is a bigger point of differentiation than 777 vs 747, IMHO. The problem with BA F is that BA have a significant amount of aircraft out there still sporting their old F cabin, and some of those cabins are in a state of disrepair. Unfortunately BA16 is currently a route where there's about a 50% chance of getting Old F (see ftdashboard.net for an overview of where New F has flown). The only way to give yourself a good chance of getting New F on a 747 is to select a flight which has 70 business seats rather than 52 -- the so-called "Hi-J" configuration of the 747 has been completely converted to New F.

As for your question, though, I've only ever flown New F on the 747 so I'll leave it to others to highlight the differences, if any. :)

Big chance of OF on this route......late March it changes to 777 therefore, NF.

If you are going all the way to LHR - you could change at SIN. Depends on your ticket......if you jag NF on the 747 you might not want to change anyway!

Luck of the draw I'm afraid.

Indeed - on the 747 there are 'two exits located at the rear of the First class cabin and two exits at both the front and rear of each other cabin', whereas on the 777 there are 'two exits at the front and rear of every cabin' :)

747 is so much better in terms of quiet and privacy - no crew or passengers passing through the cabin on the way to the forward galley/lavatory.
