I love Sons of Anarchy and Suits is not bad. The gentleman loves The Wire and Breaking Bad. There is quite a few good shows in that list.

The League of Gentlemem (but only if you are local and there is no shouting)
Curb Your Enthusiasm.

There is a bit of a funny, league of gentlemen funny, show on late at night on ABC. It has one of the black books actors and this other stand up british comedian (who's on never mind the buzzcocks a fair bit), and there is a flying carpet guru and a gorilla as some of the characters. I have no idea what it's called but I think it's rather good.

"The Thick of It" just gets better.
We just had a trip down nostalgia lane and went through "The Professionals" and "Minder".

Wasn't the OP aksing what to pick off his list of available shows?
Actually no i wasn't - that list I posted is the list of TV series I have - every episode of every completed series.

I was asking the good folk here for suggestions of other TV series that might suit my impeccable discerning taste in IFE.

Oops sorry I misinterpreted. If you are running IFE on an iPad you have limited space so I thought you were wondering which of your list was best to take/watch, no Worries.

If some easy to watch comedy is what you're after, you have to include some NBC series (Parks And Recreation, 30 Rock, The Office etc). A lot of debate over US or UK Office though, I'll leave that choice with you!

+1 for The Wire. I'm up to season 4 now and I'm hooked.

Guys that was a joke about iPad - I do sit and play with one every single night - I just never take to China with me as I MUST have USB in China.

I hope you are borrowing x264 versions of these shows now - generally much smaller file sizes...

Simon that type of question swooshes straight over my head - I am a techno simpleton - NFI - but I will go check with the boys - thanks for the input.

Veep for comedy

The Newsroom for drama.

Saw them on Krisworld and have been hooked ever since. Excellent shows.

The file format should be mp4 rather than avi.
Again too complicated - not my department - that's why I employ staff - my job description includes tea making / cheque signing - and aparently now you can transfer money somehow via cloud or something - I am rapidly becoming redundant.

There will always be a place for a good cup of tea!
