SYD T1 J LOUNGE

Now that's what I call a REAL enhancement! Farewell Chivas.

JW Gold in a J lounge but no Blue in F lounge... Despicable. Not tempted to do a Jlounge run instead though

If they see that gold liquor disappear faster than tequila at a frat party they might just put the Blue back or Chivas.

That said, what are the good common Scotches that should be left there?

(I know the FRA FCT has over 50 or so single malts, but like hell QF will go to that length, let alone in the J lounge)

You mean red, rather than blue, right? ;)

Very nice to see, especially since my Emeraldness is likely to expire at the end of Feb so will once again be banished to the J Lounges.

Does that mean you can't moderate ;) :p

I don't drink scotch for the taste. I can tell the difference between JW Red and JW Black. The rest are all pretty much the same. Well to me they are anyway.

Drank some blend in Thailand that costs ~200THB/bottle and was surprisingly good.

its an acquired taste, usually borne out of living in cold climates....

I have found where the Chivas is going...

Which IMO is an upgrade for Virgin, from the (discount grade) red coloured JW label that they previously liked to served. (DJ caught up with Qantas, just in time for QF to up the ante.)

So, looks like an airline scotchwar in progress. Yay
