Make that 3 confirmed...... so one more confirmed spot left, but more AFFers are welcome!

I've got Turn 2 grandstand tickets for the 3 days, good views, but have to bear with the same rowdy neighbours.

Out of interest, what dates have you booked for? I hope you ensured that the flight dates are changeable, as there is not yet any confirmed calendar dates (although it seems likely to be a 17 March/24 March Oz/Malaysia back-to-back) and there is apparently ongoing wrangling with the teams and Bernie about the dates. In the past even announced dates have changed, and 'assumed' dates like the above are even more prone to change!

I have a 7 hour layover in Singapore on Saturday afternoon, hmmm would it be too risky to get out and back in time for a flight?

Have unused tickets for Friday and Saturday. Not sure which stands but let me know if your interested

You would have loads of time. The MRT green EW line from Changi goes into the city with only one change at Tanah Merah station. Probably about 30-40 minutes each way, but even allowing an hour each way and an hour before boarding that would still give you 4 hours. Get your connecting flight's boarding pass when you land from the transit desk and you can head straight to the gate when you get back to the airport.

Have a look at http://singaporegp.sg for the programme.

Thanks for the offer, i think I will just stay at the airport.

I have already booked the transit hotel, next year I will go though for sure.

Sounds good, i would not want to leave lol.

Yes agree with Dr. Mikki. Dates not in concrete for next year. still subject to change. happy for you having a catchup in Singapore. Silly me in 2010, didn't check for a couple of days prior, and the AFF catchup was actually at the Hotel that i was staying in. very embarrassed i was. love Singapore F1, did 2009 and 2010, but after doing Melbourne/Malaysia/Catalunya/Monaco, something has to give for the rest of the year. looking forward to Melbourne/Malaysia next year after the dates are confirmed!

I have just got an advance purchase offer for Singapore next year. Prices are pretty good (S$888 for pit grandstand). The offer expires on the 30th so I still have time to decide. Bit hard with no dates yet.

I suggest we meet on Saturday at Raffles at 2pm. The track action doesn't start until 4 with the GP 2s. I will be in the outside bar area (North Bridge Rd / Bras Basah Rd end of the building) sporting a Red Bull cap. The drinks are not cheap, so I don't suggest we stay there too long.

Just a gentle reminder that the dinner at db bistro is at 8pm this evening. We still have an empty spot available for anyone who wishes to attend in short notice. Seeya guys later!

Next meet up is at Raffles courtyard bar Sunday @ 3pm. We don't have to stay there as the prices can be a bit scary.

Provisional date is 22nd September, 2013.

Well the races have been run and won, the anthems played and sung. Back home to the real world tomorrow, and work on Tuesday.

It was great to meet mikew, pmdg7444, Lowjhg and Boeta.

Now to start the trip report...

Apologies I missed the Friday dinner, I unfortunately did not have internet access to read about it. But was excellent to catch up with JessicaTam. Was an excellent race too! Singapore really turned it on ;)

Apologies, I seem to have completely missed this thread.

Unfortunately I wasn't in Singapore for the GP anyway, but it is always nice to see AFFers when in town.
