Hi all

Apologies if this has been written elsewhere already.

After today's announcement with EK and QF, it seems other airlines may be ending their partnership and agreements with QF next year also.

Received an email from Air France today (as I am looking at quotes at the moment for a group booking) and it was said in the email to me

"I am pretty sure we will not have any agreement with QF next year, so please take this as an indication only as we may not be able to offer you the fare at all"

I assume that the fare you were after included Air France codeshares on Qantas operated services (e.g. from SIN into Australia). Certainly don't recall reading anything about what may happen with those!

The flight route she quoted me back was Mel-Sin-Cdg-Lhr, and same on the return leg.

Airfrance codeshares are gone. I assume from 1 April when the other change is supposed to take place.

MEL-SIN will be your problem if Air France stops codesharing on the QF flight. But they did recently start codesharing with Jetstar on some routes (e.g. Darwin, Gold Coast), so you might be in luck if they organise that to MEL

Thanks Mark, but would rather fly Scoot than coughstar!
In any case, their quote was not even in the ballpark and will be going elsewhere
