I'm currently sitting in the F lounge in Sydney and the pri*k next to me is letting everyone in the area listen to some cough on his laptop.
Oh wait, a solid stare has got the volume down!!!!
It happens everywhere.
Some of the lounges in parts of the world have mobile free & /or silent zones.. which is a great concept.![]()
Emphasis on "concept". The number of times I've seen people using their phones in these zones....
So the 'evil eyes" helped in this case! I usually get some 'big shot" talking arrogant & loudly on their phone about some deal/project/ or just how wonderful they are, as every second word is me, myself, I.. so everyone in the lounge has to listen to their cough![]()

I couldn't help myself,I had to take a snap,
this hand appeared in front of me on and off all flight AKL-BNE today.
Sometimes touching my IFE screen and changing the settings.
The interesting thing was the owner was a short wee lady ( yes hard working hands there) so quite a stretch for her to get her hand up there.
I am in the SYD first class lounge now as well.I'm currently sitting in the F lounge in Sydney and the pri*k next to me is letting everyone in the area listen to some cough on his laptop.

The restaurant area is extremely loud. Why do people feel the need to have loud conversations and laugh at the top of their lungs when out in public?
Get more attention?
I think they are just insecure or showing off because they are in the First Lounge.

Wild guess - maybe they are just happy & a little pissed!

time they made the F lounge exactly that - for F class only.
no doubt it's all the gold FFers who are now platinums because of the double SCs... plus the bunch of people buying F lounge passes on ebay![]()

It will become very very uncrowded given the demise of F on so so many services or perhaps AJ could lease them out to Virgin for all the others that have gone to the dark side
ughYesterday on 4pm SYD-MEL flight I was in a window seat in row 8, the seat in the middle was empty, the aisle was occupied by a woman in perhaps her early fifties. She spent the first half of the flight working on a PowerPoint presentation, and the second half plucking hairs out of her chin with tweezers. I was horrified.
