Hello,
Im confused about how many status credits earned. Am trying to retain my level and thinking of doing Adel/Townsville run as suggested and then going on to Mackay (and possibly Cairns) then back to Brissy and Adelaide.

Using the calculator on Qantas site Adel/Town with the business any class option and paying as well gets 120 credits. Thats ok. But using discount eccomony for all the others and saying one way it says 20 sc each for Towns to Mackay and Mac to Bris and then 30 for Bris to Adel? That would be enough for me but not sure if thats right as I even checked my recent trip to Syd/Adel and I got 15sc each way but calculator says double that? I even kept last Qantas mag
and says earn 10 and 15 between these places?

Is there something Im missing? Hope that makes sense.

The calculator is incorrect for domestic discount economy sc earn. It is showing the full economy earn rates.

Thanks for reply. I was wondering something like that. What a bugga! Now will have to re-think everything.

I die every time I see quantas on a frequent flyer forum.

Sorry about the typo - I do know how to spell it but was probably tired and busy when I wrote this. Anyway have booked my QANTAS flights from Adel to Towns, over to Mackay to visit some friends and then back from Brisvegus using any seat award again so costing me 48,000 points all up plus the flight costs so should get enough scs to keep same level. Hopefully some bigger trips next year will earn some more points back for me.
Thanks again for help and info on this site.

Hey guys. We are having some issues with the calculator on q.com. Sorry for the inconvenience. We at working to get it fixed ASAP.

I'd say no chance...

The T&C's would override the calculator.
And yes a smily face would have added to the post;)
