New P1 card and bag tags, News?

Hi there,

Has anyone out there know if QF are going to get it together and provide P1 members with a proper P1 card ( not an old card with red text) and bag tags? If CL has its own card & bag tags so can P1.

...Oh and if someone reminds me that its a level within a level and not in its own right a FF level then why create it and give it "special" privileges?

Some ideas could be taken from LH Hon Circle card or the SQ PPS card.

On some levels it is like the extra benefits for platinums at 2400 SCs hence not different..

Scrimo, I agree that it is effectively a new tier, but what exactly do you need the tags/card for? Just curious.

So you can have them on your carry on to be even more of a DYKWIA, why else?

Even if that is the case it can still have different bag tags and card like many other FF programs. The example above is covers this.

Same reason that every FF out there wants a new card when they get to a new level e.g. silver, gold etc etc

Perhaps they could issue every P1 at checkin a helium filled pink balloon with ¨Dont mistake me for a WP, I am a WP1¨ in huge letters on it.

Since I started argument for no hi vis gear in the J lounge (again) and it clearly upset a few people maybe all the P1 members could get a hi vis vest with QF P1 on it?? If you can't beat them join them!

IT was always described as still Platinum, just with a few additional benefits, like the bonus offers at 2400.
The current card (and different phone number) is recognisable to those in the know.

Just be aware that an unpublished form of P1/ÜW existed in well before QFF decided to market it with specific qualification earn levels.

Likely as a legacy of that, certain facits appear to be continuing to be 'behind the scenes' as it were.

Give them an option to opt out of CSM greetings and give them hand sanitizer just in case the CSM shakes their hand.

In fairness to the OP, I do seem to recall QF making a fuss about how the new card was top secret and they were getting a design firm to come up with it............

With the money they spent on the metal packaging could have instead improved the card/tags. Is it superficial - yes, but there are many people who love wallet candy (look at all those Centurion holders).
