Yes I got a male on a boat too. From what I remember the last photo on the Platinum brochure when I requalified was a male or a family on a beach, or a dock.
Where do Qantas get the inspiration for these photos, and what kinds of emotions are they trying to evoke?
Perhaps a photo of someone relaxing in the F Lounge would be more appropriate, or getting F kerbside service. Then again, maybe the idea is, "Don't put anything that reminds them of
more travel, because they already have plenty of that. Give them something they'd rather be doing..." Though, that thought doesn't bode well for the Gold pack (is anyone keen on frolicking frivolously through a flower field?)
Probably better a picture there than just more wire-drawing kangaroos, or concentric hexagons.
I certainly wish I had a boat like in that picture (I also wished I looked that healthy, too!)
Of course, I'd probably sell the boat, pocket the cash and use it for more travel....

I wonder what I'll get when I drop from QP PS to QP NB. Most of my flying this year is on Skyteam and *Alliance.
Probably nothing. You can't "requalify" (or qualify) for NB.
