I took my car in for a service this morning and wished the mechanic a happy valentine's day. He grinned.. and blushed
It was really cute. I didn't get any gifts, but gave V1213 a die-cast model of the 787 Dreamliner for his desk.. just coincidentally bought it in Hong Kong at the weekend. God I'm good =)

I spent Valentines day riding an old friend i've been flirting with for years.

She warmed my nuts... she gave me the full first class treatment!

She even gave me Gold for a Valentines day present!

Now that's what I call AAmazing ;)

(Seriously though, I spent all day flying :P)

Oh God what an extreme flyer.... :p

There's just a little wrong with reading that paragraph.... just a little :p :D

Work, a dance lesson and watching the other half play netball. Wouldn't have it any other way:D

Home alone! MrsH away on business. caught up on series 2 of Spartacus. Heaven!!!!!

Flew JQ to CNS which was a good flight. On arrival the minute the a/c door opens, what looks like a baggage handler comes on board give the Cabin Manager a kiss & hands her a dozen red roses - now that's romantic!

SO is waiting for me in the arrivals hall, no red roses in sight the only thing he's holding is his course manual from that afternoon. He did have a smile on his face so I guess he's off the hook.....this time.

I recount to him what a just saw happen on arrival (like hint hint) & he replies "serious?" like the whole idea of roses escaped him. I don't think he even knows what a florist is & my only hope of any getting a bouquet of anything would be when these are sold in Bunnings, Jaycar or Trade Tools Direct!

We went to dinner at the Pier Bar & Grill at the waterfront area as all the main course meals are $12.00 which includes a glass or beer, wine or soft drink then caught up for a drink at the Salt House Bar & Restaurant after that with dfcatch.

There's hope for the rest of us then ozbeachbabe. I got told that all she needs is a card... That's what she'll get next year :D

It's alright OBB - your SO turned the weather on for you for your v-day visit :)

I got the opposite! SO was very surprised (and red faced, nice story behind it ;)) and said she wasn't expecting anything from me given I'm so far away and that now she'll expect it every year!

When we finally met up again today I was accused of not even saying happy Valentines Day. So not true :!:

Even the checkin to our upgraded King Yarra Suite at HSW did not get me out of the POOOOOO.

Hopefully the DJ business class to OOL tomorrow will help the situation.

You'll have to print out the thread then, there is proof:!:

Well, being a school night and all, I went to the gym and got sweaty with my trainer. :P Little Miss went to bed early, not feeling well. Mr Katie made a lovely roast chicken and salad dinner, and we shared a bottle of Moet.

What a man, Katie! He's a keeper!

Straitman, I'll back you up on Saturday! Let's see if we can't resurrect your brownie points ;)
