EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

I like your thinking, but I am already enjoying some wine that came with 500 bonus QFF points

Speaking of which, that offer ends tomorrow..

Availability – Offer valid until 31st January 2012, while stocks last. Where stocks are unavailable Cellarmasters may elect to make an alternative selection available.

Cellarmasters: Buy Wines Online, Red or White Wine, Mixed Dozen

Seems that only straight dozens of Red OR White are left, The mixed dozen is showing as sold out...!

Edit: The whites are quite drinkable and thinking of getting another 2 dozen (using Mrs Shintaro's EDR account number) with another $50 off coupon (using her email address), 24 bottles delivered for just over $100 and 600 QFF points makes this a sweet deal...

I got a double points over $30 at Big W. We rarely shop at Woolies, but Big W in the city is close to work, so I spend more there than anywhere else in the EDR/Woolies chain.

And once again the standard $100 for points etc up to spend more than $150 and get 300 points.

Really would like something like the offers others here get with way more points for a lot less $.

Nothing again this week.

We are starting to run short of nappies, and I am holding off fo rmy usual offer. If it doesn't come through I'll buy them using SWMBO card, so they think I hhave shopped elsewhere for them.

Re: EDR General Promotions

My offer this week was for bonus points for buying baby products. Not very well targeted as I haven't had to do that for around 5 years ...

Nothing this week. I've had a few in the last few weeks but the spend amount was too high.

I hink they are looking to see if their revenue falls in a week that they don't offer many customers promos

It will be in our household...unless they come up with some Wednesday ones.

I shop big when I have promos and basically use up the extra food during no promo times!

The bonus QFF points on selected items was great, surprised they got rid of it so soon, must still be crunching the numbers..

BUT from what I saw any product that had the bonus 5/10/15/20/25/30 QFF points was pretty much out of stock or running very low!

No, the story on ABC Radio said the new CEO was looking to sell the chain ... maybe Coles will look to buy a bargain in this distressed market. The former owner was not impressed with Woolies decision

they wont ! just close down all negative profit shops first!

Becomes subject to the law of diminishing returns, smaller footprint means smaller buying power, higher costs, more stores go below the line and close, etc etc. You can tell how well a store is going by its stock turn, a lot of clearance tags is never a good sign and DSE have always struggled with their PC and PED offerings against JB lately, they also failed with their superstores.

Overnight, I received a targeted bonus points offer, to shop in a brand new BWS store that is about 10km from where I live.
It's a little odd, but I think the 250 points will be worth it :)

DSE has superstores? Are there any in SA?

They do have two stores in Rundle Mall (ADL) that are approx a 3min walk apart which always seemed like a dumb idea to me.
