More than 140 passengers who were on board a Qantas plane that plunged hundreds of feet twice in mid-air over Western Australia have received out of court compensation pay outs of up to $400,000.

At least they weren't trying to sue Qantas over it.. Interesting that some rejected the payouts and are going after more!!

I wonder if they took account of contributory negligence - that of not wearing a seat belt.
