Declaring "Im leaving AFF" - What does this actually mean?

There's a difference between having a handle permanently banned from a site, voluntarily abstaining or simply forgetting about AFF/not having a need.

Of the various handles mentioned, all fall into one of those categories.

Is there a way to block a thread? I keep seeing the same superficial titles* everytime I open the AFF app.


*since there are some difficulties with reading posts note the use of the plural 'titles'; this means I have not nominated a particular, singular title.

i have read some peoples reason for leaving and I think OK who cares others I would leave the forum as well.

It also can be a tale of caution as what not to do within the forum or with members.
