Ok Tony, you asked for it : back at the swamp,I've just folded 2 baskets of laundry, made 3 school lunches and am now falling asleep in front of the Gruen Transfer :rolleyes: Looking forward to an exciting adventure on public transport tomorrow before meeting all the AFFers and rubbing shoulders with QFF's finest ;)
 
Well I spoke to drewbles via mobile about 20 mins ago it seems he has been found by the BNE contingent (most of whom I know) and was chortling that they have got Suites on the top floor of the Radisson.

Now I don't know if he was pulling my leg or not...:eek:

Lawless & TonyHancock, I can see you are both online now. I think they are being very rude by being offline :D - I know they are drinking in the bar :(

Wish them the best of luck, while I stay tuned to their and the QFF WP1 announcement. The 2,400 SC question is will WP1 be worth the SC earn? I trust that by mid next week we will have discussed it enough to form a go forward program.......... :?: :confused:

Dashed home from a function in LA Sunday night to be here in case I got "the call" ...

In the F Lounge at TBIT I tried to log on to see if I had a PM & to see what's going on & if you're all a twitter! Unfortunately the computers there are still mind numbingly slow. 5 minutes & AFF still hadn't loaded. So I used a couple of hours in SYD this morning on my way home to check things out. Reasonable speed there. And indeed, you are all atwitter.
 
Good to meet you drewbles and bugayev. Sorry I couldn't hang around after we landed - my lift (i.e. fiancee) was already there and had a bit of work to get through at home. See you all at lunch tomorrow! (Hopefully you guys get some sleep ;)).

PS: If you're looking for a bar (apart from the lobby bar), I hear Bar 100 is supposed to be pretty decent. Opened just last weekend, down in the Rocks. An ivy challenger they say. We'll see.
