Well...... What do I say about this? I have enjoyed my time here. I don't have all the knowledge to take me from bronze to platinum...... Truthfully I have no idea?!?! I "played down" my status when I first joined AFF..... Not to be deceptive, but rather as I wanted to just join in the community without anyone pre-judging.

I don't sit in the back of the plane....... I won't do that. I am too tall for a start. I LOVE flying... Actually.... HATE it..... LOVE to get away.... That's what I love......

During my time here.... I have guested into the CL, FL, BL, QP......Have invited fellow members out for a dinner/lunch.... In AUS and overseas..... (including TOP restaurants here and overseas.... which I pay for in full...... You AFF members know who you are!!!!) Tonight.... to be fair, I have concluded I am done. I appreciate all the positive things..... BUT...... I can NOT get over the negative.

Thank all those who have helped me along the way. I really appreciate all your input. for me..... This is a final good bye. I am sad.... perhaps a bit too emotionally attached....... I just want to leave gracefully..... Thanks again for all those who contributed to the forum and who made me feel welcome.

Sorry to hear you're going. You've always been a positive influence and a friendly voice on the boards.

Sounds like you've shown a few people some exceptional hospitality, too!

Best of luck and welcome back anytime :)

Boss, sorry to hear you are leaving.

You are as genuine as you are generous and I think AFF will be worse off with out you.

All the best, and I echo that you are welcome back any time

All the best Boss. You have been a great contributor. But yes there is a lot more negativity around now-seems to be the nature of the Internet.
You are obviously a nice guy.Maybe even as nice as me!
I hope life continues to treat you well and you continue to enjoy it.

Boss,

Sorry to see you go. I enjoyed our interactions over the time you were here.

Best wishes for the future.

One person who I am sad to see leave. :(

Maybe I will catch up with you sometime in the future, flying or in an airline lounge somewhere in the world.

I'm really sad to see you go. Never met you but still the same feelings. Especially, as my sense of self is I'm highly negative. But then I can also hear my wife saying it's not all about "you".

It is a loss. You may not have got tricks to get status, I doubt you need tips. But in my family's case we got at least 1 tip from you, giving chocolate to the crew. Not on every flight but in this case for exceptional service. We looked at each other across the aisle and said Haigh's chocolates? Yes!

Thanks. My wife, and I, certainly enjoyed the positivity (to life) that you project.

Sorry to see another Great Quality member leaving.

Come back soon. :)

Thank you bossreggie for all your contributions to AFF.

I'm sorry to hear you're leaving us, but please come back at any time.

I hope again some day to cross paths... somewhere in the world. You're a great person and wish you all the best.

Echoing the sentiments of others here Reggie, you have been a wealth of knowledge to others on here trying to maximise their FF programme.
Best wishes for what ever the future holds, and safe travelling.

Tonight.... to be fair, I have concluded I am done. I appreciate all the positive things..... BUT...... I can NOT get over the negative.

It's sometimes hard to ignore the negative. I've been on Flyer Talk for over 12 years and AFF for nearly 4 years. Over that time lots of very worthwhile posters have left because of the negative. And it will continue that way. Such is social media. :(

Sorry to see you leave. Best wishes.

bossreggie, I'm sorry to see that you are leaving AFF. It is your decision and I respect that.

Thank you for your substantial contribution to AFF (Special mention goes to your generosity during the flood appeal).

Hopefully, this is not "Good Bye", but Au Revoire

Are you just getting out of here to avoid economy? ;)

Na, enjoyed all your posts and positive contributions Bossreggie! Negativity does tend to make the forums less enjoyable.

Anyways all the best wherever you may end up!

A shame you're departing these climes bossreggie. But I guess, in the words of John Wayne, "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do" (or whatever he said). Keep safe. :)

Sorry to hear you are leaving the forum. I have always enjoyed reading your contributions and have learned a thing or two ( eg. chocolates for the FA's) .
Happy Travels :)

I'll miss you too, Bossreggie. I think I'm glad to see i'm not the only one to copy your chocolate idea. I would have had a nice bottle of red back from the J FAs SIN-LHR, but as we were going on to CDG, I couldn't keep it. :( But I do credit the choccies for helping our BNE-SIN FA to remember us when she flew us SIN-BNE almost four weeks later. She asked for us to be allowed to visit the flight deck after landing - my Little Miss thought it was very cool! :)

Life is full of darkness it is only when we bring our light to the world the the darkness recedes Boss continue to bring light as you have done and enjoy the journey

Bossreggie - I'm really sorry to see you go.

My partner and I wish you the best in your future endeavours.
