Not a happy camper

Hilton Diamond with 59 nights this year.
Over 300000 points and I have tried 3 times for a night at the Brisbane Hilton over a 7 month period and always on a Friday night.
Every time they were full.

There were rooms available on the web site though. Do I detect a trend.
You bet-ya!

Just come back from London and spent 15 nights at the Radisson in Bloomsbury.
I think you call that voting with your feet (Or in this case wallet)

Not a happy camper.

Seems rather silly.

I did a search on flexible nights for awards on HHonors online, and it kept telling me for Brisbane that there was an error generating the awards calendar. When I tried fixed dates, it said that awards weren't available.

This applied for every day, every month of the year (or sample thereof). I think it's a bug. Did you try calling the Diamond line?

Sydney had no trouble. Really weird (especially when at one point I was having trouble making reservations on the Hilton site for Sydney but not for the rest of Australia).

I have booked a night at Brisbane Hilton in a few weeks time - the website claimed availability - went to book - stated not available (tried this on a few nights all stated the same - maybe there is a bug....).

One phone call to HH Diamond and hey presto a night was available.
