Hello - we are visiting Australia from the U.S. this December and planning to fly to Tasmania and back. Were thinking of getting the Virgin Blue airpass, though we just have two legs - Sydney to Launceton and Hobart to Melbourne - just for flexibility and slightly lower price. Does anyone know if we will be penalized if we do not make the minimum of three flights? Other suggestions?

I dont see it as being an issue, its the airline that is gaining, although it may not let you book the flights without the minimum number of segments.

julie36pa,

Welcome to AFF.

I would flick them an email and ask the question if I was you.
