Thinking about this - methinks it's simply a current two class with row 26 to 37 having their Y seats stripped and replaced with PE seating.

.

Slightly OT but it would be nice to have some Y+ on the A330s. At least for those doing overnight flights in/out of SE Asia.

When Qantas get the current Jetstar A330's back when Jetstar gets the 787 deliveries, perhaps then they might invest in some Y+ for A330 on QF flights :P

The slope on SKI is also very annoying if you are shorter. At 168cm I frequently waken having slipped to the bottom of the seat

Princess Fiona I had the same problem (I'm even shorter than you) until I discovered the kink method. Simple recline to completely flat/sloped and then move back towards upright a bit until it feels comfy. The slight kink is comfortable for me and also stops the slide I find.

Cheers

I expect the JQ A332s will remain in a domestic 2-class config and replace 767s on domestic and perhaps TT services.

I would disagree - I'd expect them to be given a domestic J product.

I'm at the other end of the height scale (6'5") but I agree this is the best method - the probem i have if i slide off is my feet hit the floor or the seat in front. The slight kink keeps you in the seat, and is best found by going to maximum, then a small (very small) move back towards upright.
