Just received word from a friend travelling QF J today that they were given some hassles by a dragon while trying to use a QP in an airport where there isn’t a J lounge.
To cut a long story short, it wasn’t a regional lounge, and they were ultimately asked to leave the lounge, while still having an onward J ticket. When they showed their QP card, things changed and they were welcomed back into the lounge.
So, do J travellers really have no QP access anymore?
According to QP access rules: Access to The Qantas Club lounges they’re no problem accessing a QP as a domestic business customer.
Should they remember the dragons name and make a complaint?
