Script for displaying Qantas Booking Flight Options Detail

To make life easier for everyone, I've shifted the script over to the Greasy Fork hosting service: Qantas SC display

As long as you have Tampermonkey or a similar script extension, this gives you one-click installation without copying and pasting, and Tampermonkey will automatically update the script to the latest version.

@serfty Would it be possible for you to update the link in the original post? Thank you!

EDITED text below: Fri 16 Oct 1:29pm AEST

I hope it's ok, but I used Claude to create a secondary script which improves the layout a little bit. Keep the original script installed but add this as a second script. Change the file name from .txt. to .js and drop it in tapermonkey.
  • All prices converted to AU$ and other currency are displayed clearer.
  • Where available, flights show rewards seats remaining, with an exact count.
  • A new sort option allows you to sort by lowest-points flights first, or ranks them by best overall value.
  • A card at the top recommends the flight with the best balance of points, cash and travel time, with one click to jump to it.
  • Highlights A350, 787 and A380 flights in yellow (cos they’re my faves)
Indicates where there is wifi, entertainment and seat pitch icons on every flight.
  • Layover time much clearer and colour-coded
  • Adds country flags next to city names to make it easier to see where stopovers are
  • Removes the “Important Information” screen which pop-ups every time you book a flight that doesn’t originate from Australia

@joelby seeing odd behaviour tonight using version 2026.09.21.1 with Violentmonkey 2.49.0

Logged in, searching for MEL-PER return 03/11/2026-05/11/2026.
The results for 03/11/2026 do not contain any points or status credits values but do show the booking class.
Selecting 02/11/2026 from the horizontal date slider displays results with points and SC values as well as the booking class. Very odd.

Sorry for the delay in responding! I'm away from home and not getting much free time.

I've tried with Violentmonkey and your search criteria are working for me. Is it still broken for you? If not, maybe there was something in the data at the time you tried that broke it. I'll keep trying to reproduce it, but please let me know if it happens again.

Awesome, thanks for your contribution!

If it's OK with you too, I'll roll your changes into my script when I get some time - they look great and the original plane icons are indeed pretty puny.
