Titanium Shirley, can't be a run of mill card that anyone can grab just by applying otherwise what's the point.... Just hand the benefit to every QF member.
We'll no cos there'd be an annual fee anyway without this Qantas gimmick. If it's a card with say a $400 annual fee, Qantas is basically just putting a $400 yearly subscription fee on Points Club
It probably will be something less obtainable (or for a hefty fee) but keep in mind that many got to PC with a single decent CC sign up bonus and a few odds and sods.Titanium Shirley, can't be a run of mill card that anyone can grab just by applying otherwise what's the point.... You're cutting things fine, I didn't get the bonus points after my 1st statement period last month despite qualifying, I'm expecting after 2nd statement. Thanks to the HSBC exit situation, have just applied & been approved for a St George Qantas Amplify Visa Signature card, to go with my AmEx QF Ultimate, and replace my HSBC Premier MC (St George also has my mortgage after HSBC gives it up). Now, thanks to the 90K SUB with the Visa, I think I might actually make PC+ again, before December 8th![]()
You got the same card & promo? Yeah, we'll see. I should be able to qualify quite quickly once the cards arrive (need to switch some card direct debits temporarily from AmEx). I wasn't originally going for PC+, and have already hit PC, about month into the new member year. Handy if I can hit it for the 100SC rollover in Sep 2027, but otherwise not fussed. You're cutting things fine, I didn't get the bonus points after my 1st statement period last month despite qualifying, I'm expecting after 2nd statement.
correction, I did get the 90000 points credited 2 days after the end of 1st statement period. Was thinking of another I recently got.You got the same card & promo? Yeah, we'll see. As long as you qualify before the 8th of December, you will keep the benefits until the end of your anniversary year, plus the year after.Does anyone have a guess based on the language, with anniversary dates beyond Nov 30, if you requalify for PC or PC+ in the current anniversary year, will it likely carry over into the next cycle or will it likely disappear when the anniversary comes around.
I have obtained PC+ in current year, now states it’s valid till May 2028. What that means in practice remains to be seen.
Cheers, I guess I'll go pop it over to PCP soonish. As long as you qualify before the 8th of December, you will keep the benefits until the end of your anniversary year, plus the year after.

Actually, there some nuances to keep in mind. While you will remain PCP till your anniversary plus 1 year, enjoying things like Qantas club, the one-off benefits (100 sc rollover, or vouchers) will only be granted once, shortly after you upcoming anniversary.Cheers, I guess I'll go pop it over to PCP soonish.
Thanks, I'm aware of quite a few of it which is why I go between PC and PC+.Actually, there some nuances to keep in mind. The main purpose is for the SC on award flights anyways.
