BNE Intl J lounge - pre security access only Apr - Sep

Been further updated that the lounge is closing early at 7:30pm today, my guess is so they can return it to an airside lounge ready for tomorrow.

I fly out of BNE on Friday so very happy with the timing.

If this was in Asia, we'd probably have it up and running within a week.

Always confused me as to what they could possibly need for that long to do. Are they perhaps removing the old esclators, doing the measurements after, ordering and manfacturing new escalators?

I watched them install one at MEL T1 overnight then it was up and running within a week.....
How can we make bucket loads of money from that? 5-6 months; someone/company making tons of money imho!

And here they are:

All 3 levels open today. Security had all bar one lane open so very quick. Only 6 smart gates running (now all on level 4) so a couple of minute wait there. Still lots of construction work ongoing but overall very quick to get through.

Wow I can't wait to try the new escalators after 6 months
