How long does it take to transfer points from Mycard to Velocity

Has everyone’s points been transferred out via autoredemption on time this month? I set up auto redeem earlier this month but nothing happened on the 15th, and the points are still in my MyCard account as of today (19th).

There have been reports in other threads that they've transferred.

(FWIW, mine didn't because the balance was below 2K. I'd mistakenly thought the balance was 1K.)

Darn, I was hoping that wasn’t the case. May have to cancel it and do a manual transfer.

I had this issue on the first month of auto redemption and basically they told me very rarely works for the first month and you need to wait to the second month. So I did manual instead.

I set up auto redemption last month and my points swept out last month and has also occurred this month on the 15th or thereabouts.

Looks like yours hasn't worked, maybe you should consider a manual transfer before the end of the bonus points offer?

Correction -if you didn't do a manual transfer in Aug then manual transfer in Sep won't earn the bonus points.

Fortunately I did a manual transfer in August before switching on auto redemption!

FWIW, I manually transferred my points yesterday (after popping a little more expenditure on the card), which showed up today. Now have a zero balance for the devaluation.

I just opted in for Autoredemption to VFF points once the rewards portal link popped up in my login (took 2 days after approval for the link to pop-up).

Have to say the checkout process is a bit clunky / unintuitive - it's not as simple as just entering your VFF number - you have to navigate to the product, then "checkout" a QTY of 1 x 5 points (even though I've got 0 points at the moment), then add your membership number in step 2.

I've got some doubts it'll actually work when my points come through so I'll keep a close eye on it and just do a manual transfer once I see the points land.

You should get a screen that says something like "Auto Redemption You have enabled Velocity auto-redemption....."

I do and I enabled it on 19 Sep. I assume all is tickety-boo for the 20% bonus on the balance transfer when it happens around 15 October.

Perfecto. At the risk of cross-pollinating with the "What cheeses me off" thread, my work-provided Apple iPhone wouldn't let me screenshot from the app so I had to go online to zap it. There's a lot of apps that it doesn't let me screenshot, including email pdf's.
