Surprised there’s any given the drought. Green Park was looking like Brown Park last week!

Regents Park was actually pretty green. The only part we saw that looked like it had been knocked around by the heat was the QE2 garden. In contrast the grass in moat at the Tower of London was very brown.

We’ve walked that one.

More fascinating from an engineering feat is the much older Brunel Thames tunnel slightly upriver and now part of the overground (but underground from Wapping).

We literally walked past it last week and I’m now kicking myself I didn’t duck down - apparently you can still see that it was the former walkway from the Platform.

On the other side of the river is the Brunel museum but wild horses couldn’t drag SYD+1 there. So we settled for Fish & Chips and a River Thames office view.
