Annual NZ dinner: CHC 6 March 2027

Don't forget the KUL-SIN segment or you will be missing part of the lounge crawl.
Separate booking ... don't want to waste any of the 16 segments on one hour flights ... moreover makes it a little more complicated having to avoid too many transits/stopovers at KUL.

I am still looking for somewhere suitable. But it is likely to be central-ish.

Time to start planning that March long weekend (for some of us) in NZ!
When will there be an annual NZ dinner in New Plymouth?

Platinum for me, I love Christchurch and can use any excuse to go back. Any activities planned during the day like the official annual gatherings have?

We have chosen to rotate between AKL, CHC and WLG as that is where the majority of carriers fly from a range of AU cities. Which rules out NPL I am afraid. It even makes ZQN tricky.

Anyone is welcome to organise any sort of get-together outside of the dinner. I usually use the weekend to catch up with one particular AFF I rarely see.

I love NZ - I would like to have come but can't confirm until the end of the year. Even if I can make it, the times will be too tight to enjoy it. So, for now, it's a no. Hopefully, another time.

Well myself and Mrsdrron can be put down as gold as long as my pink jacket is acceptable for the dress code .
Just looking at hotel prices and flights.
Well that is the quickest drop from gold to bronze. Should have looked at the hotel first. CP on that weekend starts at $SA700 for a refundable rate. Apparently a big music concert on the sixth of March.
So any one who hasn’t a booking should check ASAP.

Thanks for the reminder. I have booked the BreakFree on Cashel (Accor). Slim pickings.
