Hello,
What are the best tools for detailed seat maps?
My preferred platform has always been seatguru, although my understanding is that it is no longer being maintained.
Aerolopa seat maps don't appear to match the seat map I get from Qantas for my flight.
Experflyer does appear to match the Qantas map, but I miss the seat recommendations I used to get in seatguru.
Opinions? Are there any others?

So some updates to this. Spoke to MH staff at check-in - they confirmed that the RESTRICTED next to my seat was the airline blocking the seat next to me as OWE. At check-in, the agent also confirmed that they whole row is empty as it light loads. So I could stretch out and lie down if I choose to,
Aha! The "Slash" ™, the MH version of the Qantas "Shadow" ™.

Most bloggers and news sites are reporting this, but also saying that aerolopa is not a suitable replacement because it lacks commentary on which seats to choose.

I disagree.

Aerolopa is an exact representation of the layout.
Yes, true, but there used to be one really really valuable type of information on Seatguru for Y-flyers (which is why I think it has gone largely unnoticed in places like this)... Seatguru used to tell you reliably (at least on airlines I was flying) where the underseat IFE boxes were blocking foot space.

I had forgotten about this asset while being points-lucky enough to fly J for almost all of the last ten years, and then last year was absolutely pissed off to find those same IFE boxes in SQ Premium Economy too, blocking my foot space (and nowadays that causes me significant back pain). Nowadays, that info is nowhere to be found, as Aerolopa (and similar) do not document this intrusion in Y and Y+, unlike Seatguru used to.

I’ll check this a few more times and see if this logic is true/holds. For instance, on QF67 today, I was on the aisle of the middle 4 and the middle 2 seats if the middle 4 seat section was empty. However, the RESTRICTED flag was only the seat immediately next to me. I was 25G and 25F was restricted and stayed empty throughout the flight but 25E was available for selection, but stayed empty.

So not really sure how the logic holds true. May be a question for @madrooster please?
