Nice day for it today. Rain free so far. Lots of blustery showers yesterday

As occurs regularly with good old (un)reliable QF (when I have to fly with them) they have just cancelled my flight from SYD to BNE. The lounge dragons say they know nothing and cannot assist !! There is another flight scheduled 30 minutes after mine so they are clearly consolidating flights and saying the aircraft operating mine is unserviceable. The notification says update available in 20 minutes. we will see.

Update: as expected QF now says my flight is "delayed" and will leave exactly when the following flight departs (with a new flight number) - clearly flights consolidated to suit QF - the spirt of profitability !!

Oh, you should have mentioned you were coming before I called the restaurant earlier to update the numbers!

Hopefully they’ll be able to add one more seat for us tonight.
