The Qantas Newbie Questions Thread

Hi all - I'm sure this question has been asked & answered before, but I wasn't able to find it anywhere.

I'm looking to cancel a one-way NRT-BNE booking for myself and a family member.

If I cancel for a flight credit, can I use the full credit issued for both pax towards a future booking for myself only? Or is it the case that the credit must be redeemed 50/50 between the original passengers?

Officially you need to use it for 2 pax as they'll generate basically a dummy which has 2 passengers as the flight credit. But if you get a competent call centre staff (this part is the difficult part) I believe it is possible to roll it into one.
