Qantas Upgrades - Successes or Failures (post results)

Late posting but successful upgrade from a J reward to F on QF2 LHR-SIN (I wasn't travelling all the way to SYD; was switching to a later flight) on 30 October, WP travelling solo. Earlier in the afternoon I also received an operational upgrade on my very short CDG-LHR flight on BA, and - even better -they interlined my luggage all the way to SYD even though the BA tix were a completely separate purchase from the QF ones! I'm not sure why I got such love from BA or their CDG groudstaff but it was very much appreciated.

P1 Success at t-72 J to F on QF38 leaving Singapore at 00:05 on 25/11.
We were on QF36 Which was cancelled and moved to the A380 operating QF38.
