It’s a long story but her next trip will be to Switzerland and it will only be one way if you want to read between the lines

i suspect like you that maybe she enquired with a travel agent and they told her it was ‘unavailable’ rather than it not being available on any service, on any day.

There is one TA known to us whom at every opportunity spruiks Qatar. And to one niece gave some rather incorrect info about SQ flying into somewhere like Rome or Athens. You know who I'm talking about. Not the one who does YouTube.
