They absolutely are !Yeah, I guess CGK and MNL aren't worth bothering with. But what would I know?
Both are excellent options.Yeah, I guess CGK and MNL aren't worth bothering with. But what would I know?
So ended up getting ADL-DOH-EuropeI’m looking at
1. SYD -> eg BNE or ADL (either Qantas or Virgin points or cash)
2. BNE-DOH then onwards (QR Avios)
If you get there in time (morning), head to Maggie Beer’s for the lunch. It’s about an hours drive from Adelaide, but well worth it!So ended up getting ADL-DOH-Europe
Have decided to arrive in Adelaide the day before just to have zero stress.
Never been to before Adelaide before; any suggestions for what to do / where to stay for just under 24h ?
I transited MNL last week… time from door or aircraft opening to being in my room at the Belmont hotel was 15 mins!Yeah, I guess CGK and MNL aren't worth bothering with. But what would I know?
Unfortunately arriving in ADL 3pm; flight out next day is 930pmIf you get there in time (morning)
You are always only an hour from anything in Adelaide. Plenty of decent accommodation in the city and then dependant on the day you are there you can hit the Central Markets, and very easy city to walk and plenty of free stuff like the botanical gardens, museum, etc or head to the National wine centre. Other regions like the Barossa, McLaren valley, Hills etc are all possible in a day trip but more than enough to do on the city itself if you haven’t been here beforeUnfortunately arriving in ADL 3pm; flight out next day is 930pm

Adelaide Central Market is closed on Sunday but the Adelaide farmers market will be open in the morning. If you want further suggestions maybe we will start a new thread so we are not too OTTraveling with two whingy teenagers, so my interests are somewhat secondary
The wife and one of the kids will enjoy the markets if they are on a Sunday
I was hoping to avoid hiring a car and just seeing what we could do on foot or via public transport in town
