Similar to what others have said, great to see PH Rare. It's my favourite champagne by some margin.

But how do I describe the rest of that wine list? Staggering, horrific, atrocious, embarrassing, miserable, cheap, lazy, stingy, dire, pedestrian, grotesque.

I could go on with adjectives. But this appears to be an all time low. Clearly working hard to compete with AA F in its dying days...

Main showed promise but definitely medium +




I took the cheese for dessert with the Noble One which I had as my bed was made up.
Breakfast was coffee only.

I tried it in December .
Way too strong for my liking .very potent .

I enjoyed it the last time I had it (which was also December last year), but every time I've tried ordering it since they haven't had any loaded.

Another 2 strikes on QF2 home today too.

The wine while not aged Bordeaux looks reasonable

Only the toothfish, which was quite tasty.

Lamb tasting plate was disappointing, was mainly cold beetroot with a few slices of meat. The crab tortellini is a much better starter.

Dessert affogato was excellent.

Thanks Jamesatfish for the QF2 menu. Although I gotta say I think I'd be filling up in the Qantas London lounge with its excellent food rather than eating off that supper menu.!

Actually disagree on that one.

Menu in the LHR lounge yesterday was pretty average. Squid isn’t ever as good there as the other lounges, the only other à la carte meat option was a curry chicken leg that was pretty unexciting. No red meat options.

By contrast the steak with potatoes and sauce was perfectly medium rare, and the berry cheesecake was a nice finishing touch to the meal.
