Qantas First Lounge in Singapore

Flew for the first time in F on a paid ticket (QF1/2) back in March so I'll add my 2 cents about the SIN lounge here.

No escort after I entered (unlike SYD) but I was taken to the dining area up the back on the left (as circled in the image below) after I showed my BP to a waiter. I don't recall being given a special menu but I can confirm I received one when I was in the SYD F lounge on the way up. The tables in the alcoves where I was were pretty full, but the area opposite me near the windows were fairly empty.

My flight was on a Thursday night and the area where the sofa style seats are were packed. Had to wait over 60 minutes for a shower to become available, and luckily I was able to use one about 15 minutes before the stated boarding time.

The section circled isn’t the F/P1 area it’s the section forward of this.
And depending on timing, occupancy it may be for other guests.

No, to be honest I was more interested in what would happen than actually being seated in that section.

Have had a week of great QF experiences for the first time in a while so I’m content with my wontons and spicy margaritas no matter where I’m sitting today.

It works when you just fly SIN - KUL on a dirt cheap MH Y ticket the food and drink you consume over 4+ hours in the lounge is worth a multiple of that said ticket

Yes but be aware if it’s during a peak time they can and will refuse customers on non QF metal flights, even if it’s a one world or qantas codeshare flight with the relevant benefits

Yes, the key is to avoid the slot when QF1 & QF2 transits.

Asked if I had a preferred seat, I said no so she brought me to the magic green chair area. Offered to walk me back to security at boarding time but I went for a wander myself before she came back, so she found me on board to wish me a pleasant flight..

Certainly proves to me that P1 is the real key to unlocking the best service from QF, not flying in F.

I would say Singapore is the high watermark for P1 treatment followed by AKL when transiting on QF3/4.

This is true, if there are no higher PCV pax on the same flight and more than enough hosts.
As a P1 in F, QF2 LHR-SYD, there was once a likely CL/VIP - all the staff were spending considerable time talking to him onboard, there was a host for him only in SIN (one at the time). Nothing offered to me.
Seems like he used up the "above and beyond" availability for other P1s in F (and other P1s not in F) on the day
