About to buy 4 new Pirelli tyres for the car. What's the bet there's an offer right after I get them.

Can't hold off so this afternoon bought 4 tryes @ $298ea f&b. That's $150 off usual price for the four. Not remarkable but the fronts are down to the wear marks. Only need 2 so will hold 2 tyres at home with f&b prepaid. I have around 10k left on the rears. Fitting this Friday.

I would not be worrying about these offers for car tyres. I get $100 per tyre difference easily by calling around town every time.

This is getting off topic, but how do you prove your price match? Like if I got a shop quoting me Good Year model xx_ for $200, how could I prove it to My Car that I really got quoted $200?

Anyone received Shop Small bonus points in the last few days? I did a significant spend on my Edge which should have just hit the remainder of the available Shop Small points, but that was nearly a week ago and the base points came through in a timely fashion but the bonus hasn't yet posted. I don't want to plow any more opportunity cost into it with transactions that could go on the Plat.

Didn’t it cap out at 1,000 points? This is definitely one I won’t be bothering to check. Very low value offer for IMO.

I’ve been receiving them on my points statement pretty much every day. Last credit was yesterday for approx 300pts. Probably maxed out the 1,000pt limit now or close to it. Velocity Business card fwiw.

Same problem on my Edge despite multiple messages I have used, no problem on Velocity platinum.

Interesting. I hit the 1000pt on my other cards, and I got the right number (~275) of points on a ~$55 transaction on the Edge last week. But a purchase made on Sunday for ~$148, which should have cleaned out the remainder, hasn't yet provided those ~725 remaining bonus points.

I have just received the base points so far on SS transactions, no bonus points despite receiving emails saying I had triggered the offer. All my transactions are from this week.
