strange, esp given the MEL - LAX cancellation and this one apparently continuing to LAXTonight A380 operating QF105 from Melbourne to Honolulu Live Flight Tracker - Real-Time Flight Tracker Map | Flightradar24
With no passengers on it though.Tonight A380 operating QF105 from Melbourne to Honolulu Live Flight Tracker - Real-Time Flight Tracker Map | Flightradar24
Another ghost flight? With no passengers on it though.
I thought they usually used a different flight no. eg. 6001 for these flights? With no passengers on it though.
Except (per post above) it carried no pax….Probably did the run to HNL to offset the cost of a positioning flight to LAX where it will do a charter
Freight? Or the charter was that church mob having a holiday in HNL heading home. MEL FID had the flight as departing as QF6001 on the departure boards. All a bit oddExcept (per post above) it carried no pax….

Yep, the Brethren are frequent QF charter operators6001 was a Brethern charter last year I recall, SYD-AKL
QF6xx_ flights are repositioning flights. Usually the charters are QF331/332.6001 was a Brethern charter last year I recall, SYD-AKL.
Considering the costs involved pulling it off a revenue service, crewing, these flights have cost a motza. Certainly must be more worthwhile for QF compared to operating a normal service otherwise why bother, so no doubt in the millions here. I’ll leave the Church money trail discussion for reddit![]()
Nope. QF93 cancelled that day due to a mechanical issue using that aircraft.Freight? Or the charter was that church mob having a holiday in HNL heading home. MEL FID had the flight as departing as QF6001 on the departure boards. All a bit odd
