AFF Member Stock Discussion

Seems to be about 25% of FRI so the family have to be careful not to breach the 3% creep rule to avoid making a full takeover.
The Chans have not bought any for a while and as directors they have to report quickly when there are changes.
You can read this in the back pages of the AGM report plus you read the latest ASX directors share dealings.

Yes net worth of $3.80 something for CQE and an uplift in earnings in current year.
CQE is one of my favourites because it is an easy to understand business.

A good FRI announcement this afternoon after the market closed on their Bel Air pre sales.
We missed WTM which Is Waratah today as we were not already shareholders so we were ineligible.
So @Quickstatus are you becoming more of a day trader??
Never hurts to take a quick profit but the fiscal fiend will want his share. Congrats on the Woodside sale.

FRI does both middle and upper markets. A business colleague bought in Civic Heart in South Perth and they love it.
They have projects in Palmyra /Willagee and Rivervale / Belmont which are mid tier and affordable.
With CQE that 15 cent move put a big smile on my face as we have plenty of them.

Nice burst for TUA (Sing telco used to be TPG + vodaphone) after trading halt yesterday.
Unfortunately only had a little toenail in the water...

For the chartists:
WAM (capital) seem to have peaks in Sep and Mar prior to exD and on the other side of exD falls by more than div
Its about to reach another peak (or has)
Insights appreciated

I’ve held WAM for nearly a decade. Generally, I’ve been disappointed with the overall downward movement of the stock. Whilst the dividend has been consistent, the more recent move to not fully franking their dividend is problematic.

I don't believe that I'll ever sell.

I hear you. At least I'm up, due to the relentless stream of dividends though.

Cautiously, I'm saying that it is heading up. Based on the post-GFC low, it's currently trading above a key price level and is at another. The pattern from the June 2023 low is also encouraging.
