Must be going senile. Someone just mentioned Frankie4 shoes and now I cannot find the post. The Jackie V Black Tumbled looks great and moisture-proof. Pity they don't do it in a Navy, would be great for MrsP.

Any advice would be appreciated?

Can't offer any advice , can offer sympathy though... hopefully one on the doctors will respond.
It seems 200 is the entry point as I presented in the 160>180 range but the "tension" of the ER tipped me over 200 and I was quickly admitted
Thanks.

Have you been able to get the BP under control?

It was a few years back, and caused by a partially blocked LAD.
A bit of drilling , a stent and off you go tgh...
My Bp is labile and swings with my stress levels and wellness..but has been mostly around 110>115 for a long time now

And @JohnK there are many doctors that really do understand weight loss and get good results when their advice is followed. In found this with several patients and when I eventually followed my own advice it worked just fine with a 35KG weight loss over 18 months.
The real downside is you must continue on that same lifestyle to make sure you don't just put the weight on.

Yes @drron there are many doctors that understand and care but its so hard to find a good doctor especially in medical centres.

My previous GP highly recommended stapling stomach. Let's forget that it's expensive it's way over the top. I don't want to do it.

He then recommended Saxenda. We've tried to get on PBS more than once but failed each time. At the time cost was around $500/month and I think thats now $400/month but no guarantee that you'll lose weight.

Fat blaster is cheap with specials/markdowns but I think Optifast and Optislim costs can add up. Without sacrificing trip to Thailand funds are very limited.

As well there are differences in each of us and that comes to our metabolism as well. For those that read this thread wvill be aware that there is no one else in this world put together just like you.

For what it is worth my plan is simple. Just eat less and forget the calories. Then exercise more. You eventually find the right combination for yourself.

I've tried eating less. It doesn't work. I'm OK until about 6:00pm but then my mind refuses to leave me alone. Keeps nagging for me to eat. Even when I eat it's asking for more. Stressful. Depressing.

Don't ask me how but yesterday managed only 1200 calories which is a huge win. Now to keep going.
