Qantas Delays/Cancellations

Tuesday 8 July 2025 sees the 1020 hours SYD-SIN (QF81, A388 VH_OQJ) delayed to an expected 1815 hours early evening pushback. This will be particularly teething for the elderly and those with small children travelling back on QF82 that at this stage "should" depart Singapore at 0205 hours for Sydney.
Any idea of the cause of the 8 hour delay?

On Wednesday 9 July 2025, QF30 from HKG to MEL arrived at its gate at 0751 hours, 66 minutes late with A333 VH_QPB.

QF29 today (VH-QPJ) is worse, as this 1020 hours scheduled flight ex MEL was airborne at 1221 hours with gate arrival forecast for 1929 hours, 94 behind in HKG.

B789 VH-ZNK on the Paris to Perth QF34 arrived this morning at 1039 hours, 114 minutes tardy, and has formed the second leg to SYD that's due there at about 1752 hours, 87 late, so at least it will have picked up a bit of time.

QF81 from SYD to SIN has A388 VH-OQA that is estimated to arrive at gate at 1728, 38 behind.

Isn't QF29 MEL-HKG and QF30 HKG-MEL (not SYD in each case?)
