Hi all,
We will be travelling to the US next month and I am trying to organise some west coast travel. The plan is:
12 Feb LAX-SFO
14 Feb SFO-(LAX)-LAS
16 Feb LAS-LAX
I would like to book the LAX-SFO-LAX as an instant upgrade fare and LAX-LAS-LAX as an economy fare. I can't seem to do it in the one booking so I thought that I could do two separate bookings only that I am worried about the flights on the 14 Feb being on two separate bookings.
The SFO-LAX arrives 1535 and the LAX-LAS departs 1635. Would this be enough time to claim luggage and recheck? AA.com says to check baggage in at least 45 mins prior and this is the last flight that day so don't want to risk it . After I have made the two separate bookings can I then ring up and combine them? Or when I check in can I get the baggage checked through even though it is two separate bookings?
Thanks in advance!
